Grace Peters has a Master of Arts in Musicology and Ethnomusicology (York University, Toronto), a Bachelor of Music degree in Music History and Theory (McMaster University, Hamilton) and her Piano Teacher’s ARCT from the Royal Conservatory of Toronto. She teaches all levels of piano and theory both privately and more recently at the Guelph branch of Long & McQuade. She performs as a soloist and within ensembles, and accompanies singers, instrumentalists, as well as ballet classes at the Royal City School of Ballet in Guelph. She is the accompanist for the Guelph Community Singers and the Music Director of the Woman to Woman choir in Cambridge, and the church choir of St. David/St. Patrick’s/St. Paul’s. She has performed in over 50 musical stage productions to date and plays twice monthly at Manhattan’s piano bar. She enjoys playing all genres of music, most especially classical, jazz and broadway.
